Expiratory Filter Heater

The patient, who is applied with medical ventilator, may get infected by highly contagious bacteria or virus, such as Tuberculosis, SARS or COVID-19. The medical staff and patient uninfected may get high risk of being infected becasue of inadequate or insufficient protection.

In order to reduce the risk, we strongly suggest that medical ventialtor should equiped with the expiratory filter and expiratory filter heater. The filter can trap most of microbe, such as bateria and virus. So, that can avoid that contagious bateria or virus spread out to the air.

During clinical use of expiratory filter, as time goes by, the gas flow resistance of the filter is usually getting higher and higher  because the steam of expiratory gas is condensed in the filter. That causes high end PEEP. In order to solve the problem, use of the heater can reduce the condensation inside the filter and neutralize the bacteria and virus inside the filter because the heater can keep the temperature of the filter between 55~70 degrees Celcious.
