How to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection during respiratory care?

2020-05-18COVID-19 Infection Control Strategy

According to the guidance from Public Health England for reducing infection of  COVID-19, it is recommended to use respiratory filter in ICU that is effectively to reduce the risk of air or droplet infection. Please refer to Guidance - Reducing the risk of transmission of COVID-19 in the hospital setting.

The virus of COVID-19 spreads in the air via the droplet from caughing or sneezing. The droplet stays in the air for several minutes. The mean diameter is about 0.3 to 5.0 micro meters. Blocking the droplet from infected patient is an effective way to reduce the risk of infection.

Our respiratory filter is capable to remove most of virus and bacteria in 0.3 micro meters in diameter. Appropriately using our filter is not only to reduce the spread of the droplet from infected patient but also reduce the risk of infection.

You may refer to the path aside to choose the filter which you need. (How to choose a proper filter?)

To avoid the infected patients, who applied with medical ventilator, infect other medical staffs. We suggest the expiratory of medical ventilator installed with the expiratory filter and the expiratory filter heater because that can remove most of bacteria and virus from the expiratory gas from patient.

you may get the information to know how the expiratory filter and the expiratory filter heater work in medical ventilator system. (Reduce the cross-infection in hospital during the period of using medical ventilator  )
